Effective 7 October 2026. By using Blood Pledge, you agree to use it only for lawful blood donation coordination and to provide information you are allowed to share.

No medical service or guarantee

Blood Pledge is not a hospital, laboratory, blood bank, emergency service, or medical adviser. It does not screen donors, verify compatibility, guarantee availability, or guarantee a successful donation. Qualified staff at the receiving facility remain responsible for medical decisions and blood handling.

Your responsibilities

• Keep request details accurate and close requests that are no longer needed.
• Do not upload medical records or publish another person’s sensitive data.
• Do not impersonate a donor, requester, hospital, or Blood Pledge representative.
• Do not sell blood, demand payment for a match, copy donor information, harass people, or bypass access controls.
• Use recognized hospitals and blood facilities for donation.

People marked “Ask first”

These people have agreed to hear about nearby blood needs. They have not confirmed current availability or medical eligibility. Blood Pledge may decline a request to contact someone, or pause or remove their details, when needed for safety, privacy, or their stated choice.

Availability and moderation

Blood Pledge is an early service. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. Accounts, requests, or donor details may be restricted when they create safety, privacy, abuse, or legal concerns.
