A practical response to a familiar scramble.
When blood is needed, people often spread the same message through many chats and hope it reaches someone nearby. Details go missing, old messages keep circulating, and potential donors cannot tell whether help is still needed.
Blood Pledge gives that message a clearer path. Add the blood group, hospital, and needed time. People nearby can read the request and decide whether they can help. Once enough help is found, the request can be closed.
How it helps
- Keep the important request details together.
- Search around the hospital where a donor would need to go.
- Let each person review the need before responding.
- Protect phone numbers while people decide.
- Pause your availability or remove your donor details whenever you choose.
What to expect
Blood Pledge helps people coordinate a request; it does not promise that a compatible donor will be available. People may pause their availability, decline a request, or need time to reply. Community listings are reviewed before they can appear in search and can be paused or removed at any time.
Blood Pledge cannot assess whether someone can donate or guarantee that blood will be available. Qualified hospital or blood bank staff make those decisions.
